VGMarket is a Redwood City based market research firm specializing in low cost, high sample size, fast turn-around playtesting services for videogames that are still in development. We work with you from Pre-Alpha to Final to capture feedback on every aspect of the game and measure improvement over the course of the development cycle.

Methodology
One playtest consists of 8 individual groups, and each group consists of 6-12 people that have been pre-screened to fit the demographic profile of your target market. At the end of one day, we have feedback from 50-100 total respondents.
Each group session is completely customizable and contains three parts:
- Respondents play the game for a set duration of your choice.
- Respondents complete a survey that we customize to your game.
- After all individual survey responses are submitted, respondents participate in a moderated group discussion.
With 50-100 data points per playtest, we can measure the improvement of your game from build to build with statistical confidence.
Deliverables
We can conduct all 8 groups in one day over the weekend, and we always deliver a complete feedback report in 72 hours. This report includes the quantitative and qualitative data necessary to evaluate the graphics, controls, user interface, audio, and any specific gameplay features in your customized survey. We do not count “business days” against your 3-day turn-around promise. We consider Saturdays and Sundays to be workdays.
